Pinus densiflora 'Rainbow' A selection of Japan red pine with a moderate growth rate and an irregular, shrub-like form. The characteristic feature of the plant are bright yellow ,transverse tints on long green foliage with 2 needles per fascicle. At the age of 10 reaches approximately 2m tall, over many years reaches 3m tall. Prefers a full sun, grows well on a low fertilized soils, does not tolerate drought. Recommended for backyards and Japan gardens.
