Pinus mugo 'Hesse' A moderately fast growing selection of the dwarf mountain pine with a globose shape. The needles are green colored, slightly twisted and long. At the age of 10 reaches approximately 0.3m in height and 0.5m in diameter. Over time grows up to 0.5m high and about 1.5m wide. This cultivar of dwarf mountain pine has a low soil fertilization requirements. Its resistant to harsh climatic conditions. Prefers location in a full sun. It’s an excellent variety for backyards, rockeries, alpine gardens.
