Juniperus x pfitzeriana 'Old Gold' A selection of the Pfitzer’s juniper with a low, prostrate form. Growth rate is slow. The characteristic feature of the plant is intense yellowish-green coloration of young shoots, which turn to yellowish brown during winter. It grows 10cm per year. At the age of 10 it reaches about 0.4m high and 1 m diameter. Over many years it can reach approx. 1.5m in height and 3m in diameter. Prefers position in a full sun. Has low moisture and soil requirements. Recommended for planting in small backyards, rockeries and compositions in containers. Looks impressive grafted on a trunk.
