Juniperus squamata 'Blue Carpet' A selection of the Flaky juniper with a flat, prostrate form and fast growth rate. Needles are intense silver-blue and prickly. It grows up to 15 cm per year. Over many years it reaches 0.8m in height and 4m in diameter. Prefers position in a full sun, but grows well in partial shade too. Has low moisture and soil fertilization requirements. Recommended for rockeries, moorlands and as ground covering plant.
