Juniperus squamata 'Blue Spider' A slowly growing selection of Flaky juniper with a prostrate form with characteristic, uplifting central part of the plant. Needles are silvery-blue and stiff. Over many years reaches approximately 0.5m in height and 2m in diameter. Prefers position in a full sun. Has low moisture and soil fertilization requirements. Recommended for rockeries, alpine gardens and as a ground covering plants. Looks interesting grafted on a trunk.
