Acer palmatum 'Geisha Gone Wild' A variety of palm maple with moderate growth force and bushy, sometimes rounded habit. After 10 years, it grows to approx. 1.8 m in height and approx. 3 m in width. It blooms in May. The main decoration, however, are deeply cut, jagged leaves: in spring with a lot of pink, in summer, additionally cream and green shades appear, in autumn the color changes to orange-purple. It prefers fertile, well-drained, moist soils, and sunny or semi-shaded, sheltered positions. Young specimens require winter cover for the winter. Recommended for Japanese home gardens, in exposed positions, or as an element of colorful compositions on moors.
