Variety with shapely, upright form. It has the habit of a single-stem tree. It blooms profusely at the turn of April and May, before leaf development. This variety has tulip-shaped flowers with a pleasant fragrance. The petals are stiff, after unfolding the shape of the flowers looks like a star. The color of the petals is purple-red on the outside, pale pink or white inside. Reaches 4-5 m in height after 10 years. Prefers sunny location, sheltered position and fresh, moist, well-drained, fertile, humus soil with slightly acidic. In winter the root system must be protected by covering. All year mulching is preferred. Recommended for medium home gardens, parks and also for growing in containers.
