Magnolia 'First Love'

A small tree with a compact, bushy form. It blooms profusely at the turn of April and May, before leaf development. It has a slender flowers. Petals purple-red outside, white inside. After 10 years it reaches about 4 m in height. Prefers sunny location, sheltered position and fresh, moist, well-drained, fertile, humus soil with slightly acidic. In winter the root system must be protected by covering. All year mulching is preferred. Recommended for small home gardens and also for growing in containers.
