Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Meroke' Commonly known as variety of Hinoki cypress. Growth rate is very slow, shape is irregular globe. Coloring changes depending on availability of sunlight. In full sun its gold and dark green in shade. Grows approximately 3cm per year and over 10 years reaches barely 0.3m tall. Prefers full sun, shelter from winds, fertile soil, moderate moist or moist.
